- Base coat paint
- Stencil vinyl
- Transfer tape
- Weeding tool
- Scraper
- Acrylic paint for the lettering
- Stencil brush or foam pouncer
Supplies for laser wood signs
For a laser-engraved wood sign you’ll need:
- Laser engraver or cutter
- Wood board or sign blank
- Masking tape to reduce scorch marks
- Sandpaper
- Wood glue for layered cut pieces
- Clear sealer or finishing oil
For a framed print you’ll need:
- Picture frame
- Cardstock or art paper cut to the frame size
- Adhesive vinyl or heat transfer vinyl
- Transfer tape
- Weeding tool
- Scraper
Tips by method
The dotted frame and small letters need size. Cut it at 8 x 10 or larger.
- Adhesive or heat-transfer vinyl
- Cut it large. The fine lines and small pieces are hard to weed at small sizes.
- Laser
- Engrave it. The details are too fine to cut cleanly.
- Sublimation
- Print the PNG. No cutting or weeding.
