- Exterior paint or stain
- Stencil vinyl
- Transfer tape
- Weeding tool
- Scraper
- Outdoor acrylic paint
- Stencil brush or foam pouncer
- Clear outdoor sealer

For a laser-engraved porch sign you’ll need:
- Laser engraver or cutter with a bed large enough for the board
- Tall wood board or porch sign blank
- Masking tape to reduce scorch marks
- Sandpaper
- Wood glue for layered cut pieces
- Clear outdoor sealer
Tips by method
The orange and black layers have several small pieces. Cut it large or go with a printed transfer.

- Cut it large. The fine lines and small pieces are hard to weed at small sizes.

- Engrave it. The details are too fine to cut cleanly.
