Are the designs free?
Yes. Every design has its own page with a free download. There’s no account or email sign-up.
What’s in each download?
One ZIP file with the SVG, DXF, EPS and PNG files, a Read Me First guide, and the license.
My download is a ZIP file. How do I open it?
Extract it before you upload anything. On Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. On a Mac, double-click it. Steps for phones and tablets
Which file do I use for Cricut or Silhouette?
The SVG for Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio Designer Edition or higher. The DXF for Silhouette Studio Basic Edition. Full list by machine
I can’t find the SVG in the folder.
On many computers it shows a Chrome, Edge or Safari icon and is listed as a browser file. That’s the SVG. How to spot it
Do the designs work with laser cutters?
Yes. Use the SVG in Glowforge, xTool or LightBurn; LightBurn also takes the DXF. Each design page says whether it suits laser cutting, engraving, or both.
Who made the designs?
The designs are human-created by Board & Batten Design Co.

Can I sell what I make with these designs?
Yes, on physical products, if your business makes $150,000 a year or less. Read the license
Can I use print-on-demand sites?
Not marketplaces such as Redbubble, Zazzle or CafePress, where the marketplace prints and sells for you. A fulfillment service such as Printful is fine when the orders come through your own website or storefront.
Can I sell heat transfers?
Yes, physical transfers your customer applies themselves, such as HTV, DTF or sublimation transfers. The print file or gang sheet file may not be sold or shared.
